Löfbergs, together with the Thinc company Context Media and the communications agency +1, won Gold in the prestigious advertising competition 100-wattaren

Thinc company Context Media's client Löfbergs won gold in the prestigious 100-watt advertising competition at the end of last week. The winning team includes the communications agency +1 and Thinc company Context Media, which was responsible for media strategy and media buying.

Motivation from the 100-watt jury:

"Successfully bringing a dormant brand to life after 20 years, in a category where the power of habit reigns, is no easy task. But by staying true to its DNA, this year's 100-watt winner managed to regain the top position in the category with outstanding growth. That's communication worth standing up for!"

Löfbergs is the only one in the coffee category that is increasing, by a whopping +42%, when the category is decreasing by -7%. Löfbergs' market share has increased from 17% in 2022 to 24,5% in 2023.

"Of course, I'm incredibly proud to be part of the team in this success. We've done well and we've really done it together," says Staffan Petersson, account manager at Context Media.

The 100-watter is an advertising competition that rewards communication that works. The competition is about communication efforts that create demonstrable value by influencing the target group's behavior, and thereby the client's business, in the desired direction. The competition is owned and arranged by the interest organization Swedish Advertisers.
